UNIVERSITY BUILDING

Situated on a key site on the campus, this project is a continuation of the strategic plan of the college, aiming to expand their existing facilities to meet the increasing demand for higher level qualifications.

The scheme extends the existing building vertically and provides a variety of new teaching spaces, self directed study areas and informal breakout spaces, catering to a mixture of student needs. A radiused lecture theatre prominently on the top floor provides a focal point for visitors and building users.

Large, glazed areas on the North-West facade offer views from the piazza of the internal activity, and offer views over the campus and scenic Ribble Valley beyond.
