COLLEGE EXTENSION

To maximise enrollment, Rochdale Sixth Form College have taken the decision to explore the possibility of extending the main college building in the centre of Rochdale.

With challenges including flood risk, limited developable area and proximity of neighbouring buildings, ABW have designed a minimal extension to the north aspect of the existing building. The design looks to diversify the local architectural language and bring a signifiantly increased amount of teaching space to the campus.
