ABW were commissioned to bring the original building into the twenty-first century with a significant intervention.

The new building consists of a number of bright spaces for meeting, studying and eating. The glulam timber structure and simple ventilation strategy allow the building to cope with constantly changing seasons while monitoring energy usage closely.

Distinctive natural copper cladding has weathered to leave a characterful patina to the facade, complemented by a feature orange stair.
